Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer and a musician who works predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam movies that are based on the Tamil language. Her acting debut was in the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian family from Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sister of a researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical pianist who was also an avid geek. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she was a part of at age 10, was her foundation for singing and composing music. She performed as performer in her college in several performances that were put on by The Madras Players or EVAM. She served as President of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career in theatre by appearing in Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva as part of a commercial for a coffee. She was also on the Podhigai Channel, a television show. The actress has acted in a variety of roles across India. She performed a very brief performance in Kanda Mudhal which was the 2005 climax. Gautham Menon asked Andrea be the main character following her performance. she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea was Kalyani, a housewife who's husband is involved in had an affair. She was targeted for blackmail. Andrea was picked for the part after actresses Simran Tabu and Tabu were offered the role. The film came out in the early 2010s. In 2011 she agreed to play a minor supporting role in Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which was released in August of 2011. Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie directed by Rajeeev Ravi, that was released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
