Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical series. With a strict Jewish upbringing the actress relocated from Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of the Arts. Then, in the course of time, she became active in the club scene, making enough splashes to be seen by the media and simultaneously, she became aware of the devastation of AIDS. She then merged her talent and fame with the ability to write and compose in the production of a play titled Positive Me. In the following months, she got the job of MTV as host of Awake to the Wild Side. After Awake on The Wild Side was no longer running, she started to act in films and on television, initially in short roles. In time, her experience as an actor was growing.
