Kari Sam Wuhrer born April 28, 1968 is an American actor and singer. She began her professional career as a teenager and is best recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and automobile salesman. There are three of her siblings. When she was in her teens, she performed at nightclubs in the dark, escaping from home. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, performer and actress. She began her acting career at Wooster School when she was 13 years old. She was born in Brookfield on April 28th in 1967. Her father is both an German American policeman as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari has three brothers and sisters. When she was in her teens, she performed in nightclubs by slipping away to perform. Kari was just 13 years old when she started acting lessons at Wooster School. In the following years, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari started acting when she was still a teenager. Kari got her first big appearance with MTV Remote Control in 1987.
